 Mercury has a thin atmosphere, a magnetic field like Earth, and water! The closer to the Sun a planet is, the more advanced are its inhabitants. Researchers on Earth are gradually learning more about the Sun - recent observations demonstrate that there are two main seasons on the Sun, and that Father Sol has mysterious effects on spacecraft we have sent through its orbit.
