We have spoken before of the 'intelligible' (vs the 'visible') world. It is commonly referred to as the fourth dimension (or the fifth, if time is included). Those with a spiritual bent call it the 'astral' or 'psychic' realm. If you think of length, breadth and height, it can be hard to get your head around the idea of an extra dimension on top of that.
