Our Solar System Really is a Golden Sphere
            Recently I have been writing about the Way of the Golden Sphere, and the latest  information from NASA’s Cassini, Voyager and Interstellar Boundary Explorer missions shows that the heliosphere — the ‘bubble’ of the Sun’s magnetic influence that surrounds the inner solar system — is much more compact and rounded than previously thought – it is in fact a Sphere. New data covering an entire 11-year solar activity cycle show that Sun and planets in our solar system are surrounded by a giant, spherical system of magnetic field from the Sun, calling into question the current view of the solar magnetic fields trailing behind the Sun in the shape of a long comet tail.
            Because our entire solar system moves through interstellar space, scientists thought that the heliosphere was shaped like a comet, with a rounded head and an extended tail. However, data obtained by Cassini mission and combined with measurements from two Voyager spacecraft and Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) demonstrates that our heliosphere is rounded on both ends, making its shape spherical and symmetrical.
            An instrument on Cassini, which has been exploring the Saturn system over a decade, has given scientists crucial new clues about the shape of the heliosphere’s trailing end, often called the heliotail. When charged particles from the inner solar system reach the boundary of the heliosphere, they sometimes undergo a series of charge exchanges with neutral gas atoms from the interstellar medium, dropping and regaining electrons as they travel through this vast boundary region. Some of these particles are pinged back in toward the inner solar system as fast-moving neutral atoms, which can be measured by Cassini.
            The data that is gathered from the edges of the heliosphere will help us better understand the interstellar boundary which helps shield the Earth environment from certain cosmic rays that might be harmful. And, it is pleasing to note, in a case of ‘As above so below,’ we really do exist within a larger, grander Golden Sphere.

            Five and a half thousand years ago, workers built megalithic monuments at both Newgrange, in the Boyne Valley in Ireland, and at Gavrinis, a small island in Brittany, France. At that time there must have been close contact between the Neolithic people of Ireland and Brittany - which are 400km apart. According to the science of Archaeo-astronomy, the orientation of the passages in these megaliths to the winter solstice confirms the importance of Solar astronomy to the builders.
            The stone carvings at both sites have a symbolic meaning, with the Sun most often being represented by a spiral. Newgrange has what is considered to be the world’s oldest known Sun-dial. Measuring a mere 18 inches, the ancient stone sundial is divided into eight perfect sections, which enabled its creators to tell the time of the day with extreme precision. This existed at least two millennia before the first know Egyptian Sun-dials and pre-dated those of the Greeks and Romans by thousands of years.
            These buildings can be most correctly described as Temples and they were very obviously dedicated to the Sun. The passages and chambers at both Newgrange and Gavrinis are aligned with the rising Sun on the Winter Solstice. As with other ancient megalithic sites, stones weighing several tons were hoisted into high positions by means which we no longer understand.
            These monuments were not built by primitive superstitious savages – they were purposefully constructed in accordance with astronomical movements. And the Sun was well understood as the prime source of life in our Solar System.

PART III: The Golden Sphere Encoded into Pyramids
            Author Richard E Ford, as posted on Graham Hancock’s website, writes about the Celestial Spheres of the Pyramids, revealing that the ancient Egyptians designed their structures around spheres and domes. He posts a graphic of celestial dome, with measures of altitude and azimuth enumerated, and says, “This key reveals the celestial spheres of the legends, which were coded into the stones of the walls of the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid. But why, you might ask, were the spheres coded in this manner? Because measures of altitude and azimuth are based on number and geometry, which give form to a universal language that transcends both time and circumstance and is known to all men-the language of mathematics. The architects of the Great Pyramid were speaking to the ages when they designed this chamber and the wealth of information that was so cleverly coded into it.”[1]
            He adds that it “defines a specific location on the underside of a dome or half of a celestial sphere. If we were to stand under the night sky and look up at the heavens, we would perceive that the stars all appeared to be located equally distant from us in their positions in the firmament, which would have the appearance of the underside of a great dome surrounding us on all sides, from horizon to horizon. This dome is the visible half of the celestial sphere that surrounds the Earth.” Birds talks about how the ancients build the pyramids in order to preserve the accumulated knowledge of mankind including the secrets of geometry and astronomy, star charts, and celestial spheres and terrestrial globes.[2]
            I have written in my book Here Comes the Sun (5) about how the Great Pyramid of Giza might have been built to act as a giant power plant. The Great Pyramid is so precise and so accurate that it must have had a much greater purpose than that of a ‘tomb.’ Architect Miguel Pérez-Sánchez proposes that a sphere placed by the ancient Egyptians at the top of the pyramid symbolized the Eye of Horus and had a diameter of 2,718 royal cubits (2.7 meters), which is the accurate measure of the number ‘e’ in physics. The sphere located on the Pyramid was placed in worship to the Sun – and also Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, which was associated with Isis.[3]

PART 11: The Phenomenon of Orb Lights
            As revealed in New Dawn magazine Issue 161 (Mar-Apr 2017) on page 7, documents have been declassified by the CIA concerning experiments they conducted on Uri Geller in the 1970s[1]. One noteworthy passage in the article describes how Uri’s powers were activated by a sphere of light when he was barely 3 years old, on Christmas Day 1949. He recalls, “It was really weird, like a sphere, just hanging there, shining and strobing, and then it gently and silently drifted down towards the ground. Then something struck me. It was like a beam or ray of light. It really hit my forehead and knocked me back onto the grass.” The moment he was struck by the beam of light from the sphere was “the moment his powers were activated.”
            Back in 2015 I posted about Intelligent Plasma: (http://www.solarancestor.com/weekly-bulletin/-intelligent-plasma), looking at intelligent life forms – light-beings or electric-beings – who use plasma balls for temporarily manifesting into our dimension for short periods of time. I was most interested to have been pointed to a post made last year on the ‘Solar Wind’ Blog (see http://spiritsun.net/2016/02/solar-beings-solar-life/) titled ‘Solar Beings, Solar Life.’ If you haven’t already visited this site, I highly recommend it to you. In that blog there is a quotation from Manly P. Hall in which he talks about solar beings whose appearance and composition is just like a miniature Sun. Although they are often experienced as being the size of a beach ball, it is pointed out that they can be as big as a house or as small as an atom.
            Elsewhere on these pages I have described the Sun as a giant ball of plasma. On a recent edition of Ancient Aliens (History Channel), in a discussion about crop circles, it was suggested that the formations might be made by ‘intelligent plasma balls.’ Some believe that UFOs are sometimes really craft made of plasma – while others suggest that ‘light orbs’ are intelligent beings whose form is composed of plasma. Since plasma is considered a fourth state of matter (beyond solid, liquid and gas), any intelligent consciousness that used plasma as its body would be considered to be Inter-Dimensional (ID).
            In the dimensions immediately above and below our own, intelligent beings and other entities usually have shape or form - even though not made of physical 3-D matter. Their composition is either of light (higher) or grosser ethereal substance (lower). There are other light beings on higher dimensional frequencies, usually having their origin in the Sun, whose appearance to our senses is like an orb or sphere.
            To my fellow followers of the Sun, I suggest contemplating and meditating on these intelligent spheres of light. I find their appearance very comforting and less intimidating that some humanoid figures. The ancient Egyptians and Sumerians often portrayed the winged solar disc - which may be compared to an ‘angelic sphere.’ A sphere of radiant light will often bring illuminating messages - if you should experience one in your meditations or dreams, remain quiet and attentive. Much has been written about peoples’ experiences with them over the past century, and they will increasingly light our way into the future.

There are a number of sculptures of Golden Spheres in prominent places around the world, such as those created by Italian sculptor Arnoldo Pomodoro, known as a Sphere Within Sphere (Sfera con Sfera). Pomodoro originally created one for the Vatican Church in the 1960s, but later began building them for other organizations and they can now be found in prime locations all over the world, including: the U.N. Headquarters in New York, Trinity College in Dublin, The Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden in Washington,  the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the University of California, Berkeley, the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus, the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art  and the Tel Aviv University in Israel, to name a few.
            But the Italian artist was certainly not the first person in history to recognize the significance of the Golden Sphere, not only as it is impressed into the human collective consciousness, but as it exists in Cosmic reality.
            In Costa Rica there are over three hundred ‘petrospheres’ or stone orbs, ranging in size from a few centimetres to over 2 metres in diameter, and weighing up to 15 tons. They were made over 1,500 years ago by the now-extinct Diquís culture from basalt, limestone and sandstone, using unknown methods. The Diquis people polished them and originally coated them in gold. When they were first discovered in the 1930s, people extracted a lot of gold not only from the outside, but also from the inside of the spheres, thus destroying many of them in the process.
            In a forest near the Bosnian town Zavidovici, a ball has been unearthed with a radius of 1.5 metres, and Bosnian archaeologist Semir Osmanagic believes the sphere proves the existence of an advanced lost civilisation dating back more than 1,500 years ago. According to his fellow researcher Dr. Sam Osmanagich, the region used to have many more of the spheres well into the 20th century. Many were apparently destroyed in the 1970s by people trying to extract the gold from them. Dr Osmanagic, known as ‘the Bosnian Indiana Jones,’ hit headlines in 2005 when he claimed that a cluster of hills in Bosnia's Visoko Valley was in fact the site of ancient pyramids linked by a network of underground tunnels. I will write more later in this series about the connection between Spheres and Pyramids.
            There are much older spheres than that. In Utah, small stone spheres have been found that are about 2 million years old, and they are known as Moqui balls. Legend holds that the departed ancestors of the Hopi Native Americans would play games with the balls and leave them as messages to their relatives that they are happy and well. These days the only coating remaining on them is one of iron oxide. But there are some even more ancient: Spheres found in the gold mines of South Africa said to be 2.8 billion years old, suggesting intelligent life existed on Earth long before a conventional view of history places it here. Called Klerksdorp spheres, because they are kept in the Klerksdorp Museum, they are so balanced in shape and proportion, it seems unlikely they were naturally formed, say proponents of the theory that these spheres were made by intelligent beings. One of the spheres was tested at the California Space Institute, and scientists concluded that its balance “is so fine, it exceeded the limit of their measuring technology.” It was “within one-hundred thousandths of an inch from absolute perfection.”
            This series, which I will write in several parts, will look at the traditional of the Golden Sphere as it relates to our origins, and the connection between orbs and humanity. We will look at how the knowledge of the Sphere influenced the Ancient Egyptians, Hebrews (notably Solomon), Ancient Roman buildings and rituals, and Meso-American culture. And of course, the recent appearance of the “Orb phenomenon” in the 21st Century.

The question is raised as to how sometimes a practitioner of the Solar Sciences can produce negativity or darkness, rather than issuing forth words and deeds of Light. Nowhere is this more evident than in the case of a young Roman Emperor called Elagabalus (203 to 222 AD). In his early youth he served as a priest of the god Elagabal in his homeland of Syria, where his high-ranking Roman parents held hereditary rights to the priesthood of this Solar deity. Through a series of events he wound up becoming Emperor at the age of fourteen. He was a member of the Severan dynasty, started by Septimius Severus a few years earlier, and under whose reign Sun worship had increased throughout the Empire. Elagabalus saw this as an opportunity to install Elagabal as the chief deity of the Roman pantheon and later renamed him Deus Sol Invictus. He built a lavish temple called the Elagabalium on the east face of the Palatine Hill and performed elaborate rituals to the Sun.

But something went wrong with Elagabalus: he developed an insatiable sexual appetite which he sought to satisfy with many partners of both genders, had five wives and one main husband above all his other minions, and then became a transsexual, while talking to his doctors about having a sex-change. Being highly sexed is not unknown among ancient leaders, but this young man’s real perversity expressed itself in having a number of his citizens killed for his amusement, perhaps even pleasure. Because of this, as well as increasingly eccentric behaviour, his soldiers eventually turned on him and he was brutally assassinated after five years’ reign, at the age of nineteen.

So, what went wrong? How did this handsome youth who started out as an appointed Priest of the Sun turn nasty? Human beings have both positive and negative polarity within them. Metaphysicians and mystics generally urge people to strive for balance between these two poles. As Tesla observed, the Sun’s positive polarity can form a circuit with the primarily negative polarity of the Earth. I believe that humans can consciously complete this circuit and we can train ourselves to incorporate an extra positive Solar particle within us, thus tipping the scales toward the Light. For analogy, there is an asymmetry between antimatter, so even the tiniest amount of matter – say, just one particle per billion – gives it (matter) the upper hand over antimatter in our physical universe[1]. Likewise, students of the Solar Sciences strive to acquire this extra particle of Light, based on Love. It could well be said that Love is what is missing in the search for a unified ‘field of everything.’ If practitioners absorb Sunlight and interact with the Solar Disc for self-centred reasons, or with the intention of controlling and/or harming others (in what is sometimes referred to as Black Arts) it can result in them forming a very dark and undesirable personality.

Elagabalus might have started out life with good intentions but, like so many who are given absolute power, especially at a young age, he was corrupted. And in his case, harnessing the energy of the Sun for all the wrong reasons had disastrous results. Remember to always build your Life and Light on a foundation of Love.

A year ago I posted about the Special connection of flowers to the Sun [See POST from Feb. 2016]. Sunflowers are very special because they actually face the Sun as it rises in the east and follow it across the sky until it sets in the west, in a process called heliotropism . And of course Solar Ancestor loves the fact that they are a visual represent the Sun itself.

Right now there is a magnificent display of fields of Sunflowers in bloom, right here in my state of Queensland, not too far from Brisbane, out on the Darling Downs. The ABC reports:
“Tourists are flocking to Queensland's southern Darling Downs where vast, golden fields of sunflowers are proving the perfect subject for amateur and professional photographers. The crops have been in full bloom for several weeks, luring hundreds of visitors — many keen to get selfies with the flowers — to the region near the small town of Allora. The fields are most popular with tourists in the morning and late afternoon, when dozens of cars line the side of the road. Patinya, a tourist from Thailand, said she had never seen fields like them before. The comment by the Thai tourist was quite an accolade because, when I was there in Thailand last month, they were boasting their own beautiful fields of Sunflowers (see below).

Two years ago, a group of astronomers agreed that our Milky Way Galaxy is part of a ‘super-cluster.’ The Laniakea Supercluster is home to the Milky Way plus 100,000 other nearby galaxies. It was defined in September 2014, when a group of astronomers including R. Brent Tully of the University of Hawaii and Hélène Courtois of the University of Lyon published a new way of defining superclusters according to the relative velocities of galaxies. (It had formerly been said that we were part of the Virgo Supercluster, which is now an ‘appendage’). The name Laniakea means ‘immense heaven’ in Hawaiian, in honour of the Polynesian navigators who used knowledge of the heavens to navigate the Pacific Ocean.

Perhaps an even greater discovery is the fact that ‘something’ in the universe is ‘pulling’ our galaxy, the Milky Way, and other galaxies towards IT at an incredible speed of 22 million kilometres per hour. This unknown force which has been dubbed the ‘Great Attractor’ is pulling our galaxy and everything around it towards a particular point in space, located approximately 250 million light-years away. Basically, the Great Attractor is considered by researchers as a ‘gravitational anomaly’ located within the vicinity of the Hydra-Centaurus Supercluster at the center of the Laniakea Supercluster. Adding to the mystery is the fact that the Great Attractor happens to lie in a direction in the sky referred to as the ‘Zone of Avoidance’. Towards that direction, there is so much dust and gas that our satellites and telescopes can’t see very far in the visible spectrum.

The Laniakea consists of four subparts, and the entire supercluster consists of approximately 300 to 500 known galaxy clusters and groups. The real number may be much larger because some of these are traversing the Zone of Avoidance, making them essentially undetectable. This of course means it contains hundreds of billions of Suns like our own.

Superclusters are some of the universe's largest structures and have boundaries that are difficult to define, especially from the inside. The team used radio telescopes to map the motions of a large collection of local galaxies. This method is superior to merely mapping the location of matter, because it enables scientists to build a map of uncharted regions of the Universe. It relies on detecting the galaxies' influence, rather than seeing them directly. Unlike its constituent clusters, Laniakea is not gravitationally bound and is projected to be torn apart by dark energy. Moreover, the galaxies' motions reflect the distribution of all matter, not just that which is visible in our telescopes — including dark matter.

Discounting cosmic expansion, the researchers’ map shows flow lines down which galaxies creep under the effect of gravity in their local region. Based on this, the team defines the edge of a supercluster as the boundary at which these flow lines diverge. On one side of the line, galaxies flow towards one gravitational centre; beyond it, they flow towards another. It’s like a watershed, where it flows either to the left or right.
