In September I attended the Paradigm Shift Summit at the Gold Coast. One of the outstanding presenters was Merlina Marcan who talked about Orbs (accompanied by a power point show). She believes Orbs are spiritual in origin and using her own MFT method of analysing photographs, she has identified faces in many Orbs. She says:

“Orbs are not the actual spirits themselves, but in fact, they are the travel means for spirit, like a type of cosmic vehicle or cosmic rocket. These globular or spheroid constructions have been built from materials unknown to us here on Earth. Orbs are made from elements that are thickly opaque & yet have transparent qualities like looking through glass.

They are made from strong, rigid, durable weightless substances but at the same time they can be very flexible & very pliant. These mystical elements that Orbs are made of can even go through and penetrate solid objects while at the same time they can be as solid or transparent as they choose! So therefore, this globular construction of mystery spacecraft is what we will refer to as an Orb & not the actual spirits themselves. An Orb is a cosmic vehicle; like a car, bus, train or rocket that spirits use.”

Items posted here over the past few months have examined the personal spheres each of us has around us, and also the golden orb above our heads. To expand your awareness of that higher part of yourself it can be helpful to meditate on, or simply contemplate, symbols composed of circles and spheres.

Natural phenomena are normally expressed in circles, spheres or irregular shapes. Perfectly straight lines are a purposeful geometric application - the result of co-creation between humanity and a greater Solar Entity. And so it is with symbols: those formed from circular patterns usually represent laws which occur either naturally or cosmologically, while those consisting of straight lines have been designed by self-aware intelligent forces. The Sun and planets are all spherical. The concept of the mandala comes to us from the East.

Just looking at the geometric lines of certain ancient symbols can alter your brainwaves and open gateways to higher states of consciousness. In 1984, researchers at Moscow University used an EEG machine to observe the brainwaves of test subjects who were asked to stare at mandala symbols. They found that within moments, these people’s brain waves slowed down to the Alpha level, a state of mind associated with intuition, creativity, relaxation and deep meditation. Furthermore, it began creating new neural pathways in their brains… which means it was actually programming and physically upgrading their minds. In keeping with the “As above, so below” principle, the Shift needs to begin on the higher dimension and trickle down to us here: A low-information system cannot produce a high-information system.

As now understood by quantum physicists, you as the observer are establishing a link and having direct influence on what you are observing. Be aware of bi-location: a part of you exists on the Intelligible Plane or fifth dimension, in a binary relationship with your visible physical self. A popular saying is, “As above, so below.” Also be aware of the mystical truth, “What you are looking for, is also seeking you.”

The Noosphere is considered to be a ‘mind-sphere,’ or Earth’s mental sheathe surrounding the Earth, just as the atmosphere does. The concept comes from the word Nous, the Greek word for mind, combined with the word sphere. As a word, it was was coined jointly by Édouard Le Roy (a French philosopher and student of Henri Bergson), Jesuit paleontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, and Russian geochemist, Vladimir Vernadsky, in Paris, 1926, though the concept itself was first introduced by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin in 1922 in his Cosmogenesis. At the root of the primary definition of Noosphere is a dual perception: that life on Earth is a unity constituting a whole system known as the biosphere; and that the mind or consciousness of life - the Earth’s thinking layer - constitutes a unity that is discontinuous but coextensive with the entire system of life on Earth, inclusive of its inorganic support systems.

Teilhard de Chardin perceived a directionality in evolution along an axis of increasing Complexity/Consciousness. For Teilhard, the Noosphere is the sphere of thought encircling the Earth that has emerged through evolution as a consequence of this growth in complexity / consciousness. The Noosphere is therefore as much part of nature as the barysphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. As a result, Teilhard de Chardin saw the "social phenomenon as the culmination of and not the attenuation of the biological phenomenon." These social phenomena are part of the Noosphere and include, for example, legal, educational, religious, research, industrial and technological systems. In this sense, the Noosphere emerges through and is constituted by the interaction of human minds. The Noosphere thus grows in step with the organization of the human mass in relation to itself as it populates the Earth.

A critical premise is that the Noosphere defines the inevitable next stage of terrestrial evolution, which will subsume and transform the biosphere. Teilhard de Chardin argued the Noosphere evolves towards ever greater personalisation, individuation and unification of its elements. He saw the Christian notion of Love as being the principal driver of Noogenesis. Evolution would culminate in the Omega Point—an apex of thought/consciousness—which he identified with the eschatological return of Christ.

However, there are those that believe that another sphere has been intelligently and artificially placed around both our planet and our solar system, to prevent human consciousness from reaching the next step and becoming self-aware on this plane of existence. We will explore this “matrix grid” kind of sphere in future posts.

Some teachers state that it is simply impossible for the human mind to contemplate the higher planes beyond time and space. But I believe that beings who are dwelling in the Astral plane, after death, in between lives, or having descended from the Celestial Sphere to do spiritual work with us, do have a certain sense of place, as well as a measurement of order and sequence, albeit different to the way we clock time on Earth.

Spiritualists and Theosophists always differentiated between the Etheric Sphere, which is denser and more closely tied to the Earthly 3-D plane, and the Astral Sphere, which is tied more closely to the lighter, higher Celestial or heavenly planes.

So, rather than accept that the higher spheres are too remotely abstract for us even to contemplate, why not adopt a visualization that our human brains can grasp, so even if we each see it differently in our mind’s eye, we can at least relate to it and give consideration to “where” our souls/overselves came from, and where the departed have gone to.

Throughout history, all traditions have spoken of the higher realms as being ‘up,’ equating enlightenment with ‘ascension’ and using expressions like “as above, so below.” Jesus and Mohamed were both said to have ‘ascended’ when they departed Earth, and all the ancient deities were said to have looked ‘down’ at us. Consider that lighter beings do not need to be tied to the ground down like mammals or to the water like fish, while they still follow the cosmic pattern of congregating around spheres. While it is true that some Elemental spirits dwell in the Etheric sphere close to Earth, picture those in the next higher sphere – the Astral, as being ‘up’ in the air.

Of course, we humans cause lots of interference in the skies, from HAARP and chemtrails to air traffic and satellites.  A topic for future discussion will be the increasing incidence of Orb-like UFOs popping into existence in our skies and then crashing to Earth – what’s causing that? We shall save that for another time.

  To understand and appreciate the Way of the Golden Sphere - Modo Aurei Sphaera – and know how Spheres influence Humanity, we need to perceive how our World is situated inside the spherical bubble known as the Heliosphere, and also how Mother Earth is enveloped in a Spiritual Sphere. Well meaning illustrators portray our solar system – the Sun, planets and moons - as a flat two-dimensional dish (as they do with spiral galaxies). But 96% of the Universe is not visible to us and all solar (star) systems, as well as galaxies, are surrounded by spheres of energy.
  And now NASA researchers are quite certain that New Horizons (the probe that famously skimmed past Pluto in 2015) can see a ‘hydrogen wall’ that defines the boundary of our Heliosphere. That hydrogen wall is the outer boundary of our home system, the place where our Sun's bubble of solar wind ends and where a mass of interstellar matter too small to bust through that wind builds up, pressing inward. Our host star's powerful jets of matter and energy flow outward for a long stretch after leaving the Sun — far beyond the orbit of Pluto. But at a certain point, they peter out, and their ability to push back the bits of dust and other matter — the thin, mysterious stuff floating within our galaxy's walls — wanes. A visible boundary forms. On one side are the last vestiges of solar wind. And on the other side, in the direction of the Sun's movement through the galaxy, there's a build-up of interstellar matter, including hydrogen.
  What New Horizons definitely sees, the researchers reported in a paper published 7th August 2018, in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, is some extra ultraviolet light — the kind the researchers would expect such a wall of galactic hydrogen to produce. That replicates an ultraviolet signal the two Voyager spacecraft — NASA's farthest-traveling probes, which launched in the late 1970s — spotted all the way back in 1992.
  ‘Alice,’ the instrument on board New Horizons responsible for this finding, is much more sensitive than anything the Voyagers had on board before beginning their own journey out of the solar system, the researchers wrote. And they said they expect Alice to function 15 to 20 more years. New Horizons will continue to scan the sky for ultraviolet light twice a year and report what it sees back to Earth.

In March 1974 a metallic sphere was found in a field at Fort George Island, Florida USA, after a fire had raged through it. Whether the sphere materialized during the blaze, as a consequence of it, or in fact caused the fire in the first place, has not been explained. The property was owned by the Betz family, who located it in the blackened field afterwards. They kept the strange ball and played around with it for some time before its reputation spread through the media and, ultimately, it was taken away by the military.

It has become known as the Betz Sphere. Early on, Gerri Betz’s son Terry played his guitar in the room with it, which responded by vibrating itself, “like a tuning fork.” Subsequently the metallic ball would occasionally vibrate at a low frequency on its own, without the input of Terry’s electric guitar. They said it would make “tinkling noises” without any external stimulation. It was able to move around on tables by itself, turning corners and forming arcs, and would always stop at the edge without rolling off. Placed on the floor, it was known to sometimes follow Terry as he walked around.

Later, after sufficient public interest was aroused, Navy investigators took precise measurements of the sphere, which they found was 202.2 millimeters (7.96 inches) in diameter and weighed 9.68 kilograms (21.34 pounds). Soundings revealed it was hollow, with a 13-millimeter-thick (about one-half-inch) shell capable of withstanding pressures of 120,000 pounds per square inch. Metallurgical testing demonstrated it was composed of high-grade, stainless steel - specifically, magnetic ferrous alloy #431, a magnetic, nickel-bearing metal. Magnetometer tests showed that the sphere was not only “intensely magnetic,” but possessed four, different, non-concentric, magnetic poles, two positive and two negative - a geophysical impossibility. Radio waves were found to be emanating from it, but it did not show any signs of radioactivity.

When examiners used a 300 KV X-ray machine, they detected two, smaller, spheroid shapes inside the larger globe, each surrounded by an inexplicable “halo”, and made of some unknown material measuring unusually high density. While the heaviest element yet produced in any atomic reactor here on Earth has an atomic number of 105, and the heaviest element occurring naturally on Earth is uranium, with an atomic number of 92, the Betz sphere was found to have atomic numbers higher than 140. When the one of the original examiners wanted to cut into the orb for closer study Mrs. Betz refused permission. A scientist later applauded her decision, speculating that if one were to drill into the sphere “perhaps the masses would go critical” and explode like an atomic bomb.

The sphere continually demonstrated that it was influenced by sunlight, leading the Betz family to believe it might actually have been solar-powered in some manner, although it registered no obvious changes when exposed to direct heat or infrared light. The only marking on its exterior was a small, elongated triangle. There is reason to believe that was conscious and intelligent. I believe its form and function was modelled on the Heliosphere.

Ultimately, the sphere was confiscated by the U.S. military and further discussion has since been suppressed. In spite of renewed interest recently by investigative journalists, the Betz family themselves refuse to talk about it these days, and it has become an enduring mystery.

I have written elsewhere about the fact that Soul and Spirit are two different entities. Other authors have discussed it and it is mentioned in the Judeo-Christian Bible. Attention has to be paid to differences in terminology. For me, what I know as the Overself, or Ba, or Soul, is more often referred to as Spirit by other thinkers. Likewise, what I call the Spirit (Ka) that inhabits and surrounds the physical body, is frequently called Soul by others. The reader should choose whatever term suits them best and, once settled on, that term should be used consistently.

Researcher and author Dr Samuel Sagan discerns four parts: the physical body, then the Etheric, the Astral and ultimately what he calls variously the Self, Higher Ego or Spirit – which I’d call Soul or the Overself. The issue that strikes me in his book Entity Possession (1994, Destiny Books) is that after death, the Astral body can fragment into all the different subpersonalities that belong to a person, and then scatter through the Astral realm. He seems to be saying, as I believe, that it is important for us to end the fragmentation, while we are still alive, by way of bringing the Light of the Overself into our Spiritual or Astral body. Solomon prompted us, “Ere the Golden Bowl be broken…”

Previously Unidentified ‘Structures’ Photographed on the Outside of our Sun

In an article by writer Markab Algedi on ‘The Mind Unleashed’ Website (Jul 19, 2018) we are told that new photos have been taken of our own Sun’s outer atmosphere, known as the corona. They’re painting a picture of fine details being discovered that haven’t been observed before on the Sun, with some sort of structures that have yet to be identified.

“Solar wind reportedly originates from this outer region that they’re studying, and that’s of course a constant stream of varied particles that constantly flows out in all directions from the Sun. This solar wind looks to be a prime candidate in what people should explore to theorize about the spiritual effects of the Sun, the ways we are affected by the Sun (emphasis added).

“(Observations) showed the corona as a smooth, laminar structure. Except, as it turns out, that wasn’t the case. The structures were there, but we hadn’t been able to obtain a high enough image resolution to see them.”

Perhaps spiritually interesting as well, the primary discovery of this research was that the Sun’s corona has structure, different layers and fine-tuned looking structures and things that in my opinion (i.e. the writer, Markab Algedi) imply some factor of divinity. Things are so perfect in this existence, in a certain way.”

In line with my recent writings about your Overself appearing as an Orb above your head, I have found this new course by Mind Movies aimed at connection with the chakras above your head. Now, I don’t write too much about the body’s psychic centres or chakras, because that is a specialist field already well covered by others. And I like to envisage the complete Sphere of the Overself rather than meditate on its higher chakras. However this technique identifies the first of these, about 60cm above our heads, as the ‘Soul Star Chakra.’ When I first heard Australian cosmic shaman, Tim Zyphin speak of the Soul-Star above us at a workshop, the very name resonated with me.

I have been associated with Mind Moves for over 7 years, having first used their services to post a few of my own creations to You Tube back in 2011, and I like Natalie Ledwell’s style and enthusiasm. While looking into the works of mystic teacher Andrew Harvey, I came across this very inspiring meditation, and recommend you check it out for yourself. Andrew focuses on the bliss and joy of mysticism. The appeal of the ancient Hindu practice he demonstrates here is that it starts with the visualization the Sun as your personal Star - the Supreme Consciousness.

It leads you to concentratie on the “pulsing golden Sun” right above your head, and you envisage a liquid golden light streaming from this Sun through the top of your head, which turns your brain to gold. You will notice that, although he mentions chakras, he does not follow the conventional colouring system allocated to them. This might be different to other 'chakra meditations' you have undertaken – it may open your inner eye to a new perspective!
