The Macushi are an indigenous people living in the borderlands of southern Guyana, northern Brazil, and in an eastern part of Venezuela. Macushi oral history describes them as descendants of the Sun's children, who created fire, and they also believe they discovered Washacá, the Tree of Life. They believe in the life principle – stkaton – and they believe it comes from the Sun.

The Macushi live in villages linked together by tracks and paths, with houses built round a central courtyard. When married, the Macushi couple lives in the wife's family's village and the father-in-law is of great importance in kinship. During the 18th century, non-indigenous people occupied their territory, establishing mission villages and farms and forcing Macushi people to relocate. The Brazilian Government has set up schools and hospitals for them and some individuals from the Macushi tribe are very well educated. Since 2005 they have been campaigning for land rights to be recognized throughout Brazil.

For millennia, humankind has looked upwards to the stars for guidance. This is evidenced by the extant observatories in South America and the European megaliths such as Stonehenge. Astrological studies of the Zodiac have influenced all cultures. We perceive stars as the pinnacle of creation in physical reality and thus apply the word ‘star’ to people of celebrity, or the principal actors in theatre.

The word star itself comes down to us from Old English. We also use the adjective astral, which comes from one of the Latin words for star, ‘astrum,’ to describe the invisible counterpart to our body (corresponding to the old Egyptian part of the self they called the Ka), as well as the unseen astral plane. Actually, the ancient Romans most often used the word astrum when talking about constellations, or a ‘silver star’ in the poetic sense. When referring to one particular star, they tended to use the word stella, which is the root of our English word stellar. We use that to describe something great, such as a “stellar performance.”

In Latin, the Romans sometimes also used the word lumen for star, referring to a light in the sky. The idea of each person being connected to a star above them comes from that same era, a couple of thousand years ago. The Sun, of course, is a star, and personally I think of the small Orb above my head as being a miniature piece of the Sun. Sol is my star.

The word ‘astrology’ has a meaningful implication for some while it deters others. In the eighteenth century, the German physician Franz Anton Mesmer spoke of the influence of stars and planets on humans. The word ‘influence’ itself, while derived from the Latin influo, came into the English language by way of astrology. It is the name Marsilio Ficino gave to the ‘stellar fluid’ that flows from the stars down to Earth and informs what happens here.

Mesmer – who himself added his name to our vocabulary in the form of ‘mesmerism’ – described ‘animal magnetism,’ like astral influence, as being a fluid permeating the universe, like the nineteenth century Ether, linking everything to everything else, its cosmic flow keeping all in balance.

Some interpret this teaching to mean we are each attached to a different star in the night sky. My understanding is that the Orbs that hover over our heads, visible only to psychic sight, are small ethereal sparks of light that are attached to the star we originally came from, which in turn is a visible manifestation of the Source – God – into the material third dimension. In my own case, that parent star is our Sun, but I realize that not all beings on Earth originated here.

In Timaeus, Plato describes (for the benefit of ancient-day readers) the story of how God generated the souls that would enliven living creatures:
And having made it (a diluted mixture of the universal soul) he divided the whole mixture into souls equal in number to the stars and assigned each soul to a star.

[41d] For the rest, do ye weave together the mortal with the immortal, and thereby fashion and generate living creatures, and give them food that they may grow, and when they waste away receive them to yourselves again.”

“Thus He spake, and once more into the former bowl, wherein He had blended and mixed the Soul of the Universe, He poured the residue of the previous material, mixing it in somewhat the same manner, yet no longer with a uniform and invariable purity, but second and third in degree of purity. And when He had compounded the whole He divided it into souls equal in number to the stars, and each several soul He assigned to one star.[1]”

As we know, ancient Greek Master Philosophers such as Pythagoras and Plato drew much of their wisdom from Egyptian teachers.

One of the most recently discovered apocryphal gospels is the Gospel of Judas, made public in 2006, in which conversations between Jesus and the Apostle Judas reveal that the latter was highly advanced spiritually and a confidante of his Master. In that Gospel, Jesus says to him, “Lift up your eyes and look at the cloud and the light within it and the stars surrounding it. The star that leads the way is your star.” [57-58] (Judas does as instructed and then enters into the luminous cloud).

In [43] Jesus makes the statement, “Stop struggling with me. Each of you has his own star.” Then, after Judas describes a vision he has had to his Master, he is told, “Your star has led you astray.” [45-46]. You may wonder how your star could lead you astray. Think about the words of Jesus when he taught his disciples how to pray: “Lead us not into temptation.” Why would our Overself lead us astray, or into temptation? Because that is sometimes the only way we can learn the lesson that Life has to teach us. We need to embrace that moment, not resent it.

Imagine every person having a “star” above them to guide them. My own guides tell me there is an Orb above my head, just like the ones you see depicted above the heads of some ancient Egyptians. Everybody uses different terminology, but I call it my Overself – that divine spark that the Egyptians called the Ba (as in Soul), different from our spiritual body-double, or Ka.

The orders of the Golden Temple in England and Golden Phoenix in Australia said that every person had a star.

I have posted links in the past to Harold Boulette’s excellent website, SpiritSun.net.
One of his recent posts resonates with my own perception of how we humans correspond with the Earth, Moon and Sun.
He begins with a quote from Rudolf Steiner:
“When the Earth begins to recapitulate the previous phases of its evolution, there will first be a reunion with the Moon, and then of this Earth with the Sun. The reunion with the Moon will mark the culminating point of evil on the Earth; the reunion with the sun will signify, on the other hand, the advent of happiness the reign of the ‘elect.’” ~Rudolf Steiner

Harold then continues with his own observation:
Earth, Moon, and Sun
When Steiner says there will be reunion of the Earth with the Moon and then with the Sun, he is speaking symbolically. While there may be a day when the Moon will fall into the Earth and the Sun will go nova and burn up the Earth, that isn’t what he means.
The Moon has long been symbolic of devils, demons, and other dark beings. When Earth reunites with it, we will suffer a period of great darkness. […] That is the age of darkness. We are living in it now.
[…] It is always darkest before the dawn. The dark age of the Moon will be followed by one of the Sun. Materialism will be replaced with spirituality. We will value spiritual growth more than the collecting of material wealth. The welfare of man will be more important than the care and feeding of soulless corporations. Governments will once again truly serve the people rather than just the wealthy and powerful. This will be the new golden age and it is dawning now.[i]

Adding a Fourth Dimension
To add my own take on this, whenever we find an expression of a trinity, such as the body, spirit and soul of humans in comparison to the Earth, Moon and Sun, it is a matter of adding the missing fourth component to make us whole – I discussed this fifteen years ago in my booklet The Sign of the Quatrefoil.

The subject of Spheres of Light and Spirit Orbs has featured on this site in the past, and it is an area we intend to delve into much further as time goes on.

There is an interesting website called ThoughtCo.com that has a page on ‘Spirit Orbs.’ They invite their readers to send in photos of orbs together with a short text describing them. What particularly caught my attention was the picture of a small kid with an Orb directly over his head. This is how I picture the overself hovering above many of us. By now most of us are aware that life here on Earth is very much under the influence of the Sun. The following is an excerpt from an article posted by Luther De Haven on The Watchers website on 9th May 2018. He believes that our parent star is behind the extreme rain events currently happening all over the world and observes that after a long lull in solar activity, a "proton event" (high solar winds with an elevated proton density) triggers large earthquakes.

He posts: Solar modulation of galactic cosmic ray flux on the wane? Something extraordinary is happening. Coronal holes rarely made the news during Solar Cycle 23. Solar Cycle 24, however, is a different story.
Coronal holes are the source of high speed solar winds. It is widely known that there is an inverse relationship between the solar wind and galactic cosmic rays (GCRs). A strong solar wind normally results in a drop in the GCR flux. The "something extraordinary" referred to in the title of this article is that for the last several days this inverse relationship has gone missing. Since last Saturday, May 5, 2018 it has been generating a solar wind well in excess of 600 km/s and as high as 700 km/s. Normally, in the face of such a strong solar wind, GCRs would show a significant drop of around two percent. It has not happened. In fact, GCR’s are actually climbing. Below are two charts.
The first chart is the GCR chart from Oulu Cosmic Ray Station for the past 30 days.
The second is the yearly chart dating back to 1965 when observations began:
The +5% line represents a GCR count of 6472. The +10% line is 6780. All during these past several days, GCRs have remained at or near their peak for this solar minimum, which is around 6700. Normally, when a solar wind like this one hits earth there is a immediate drop in the range of two percent or down to around 6500, and a recovery time measured in days. It just didn’t happen this time, and Mr De Haven says he has never seen anything like this.

Were this to continue, things could get interesting. GCRs are clearly related to the extreme rain happening all over the world, and many of us "casual observers" as well as number of mainstream scientists think they are also closely related to an increase in lightning, seismic and volcanic activity, and even tornadoes. Something extraordinary may indeed be happening.

Recently I posted about preparation for what people are calling “The Event.” Some expect it to be preceded by cataclysmic upheavals of nature or large-scale destruction by humankind, while others believe it will be a smooth transition to the 5D dimension. As Steven Strong commented at a recent conference, those who are not prepared won’t be able to just put their hand up when the Event starts unfolding and say, “Count me in.” It doesn’t work like that.

There are many different ideas on the due date. Ever since most of the populace failed to notice the real beginning of the Age of Aquarius in 2012 and felt disappointed not to see a physical outcome from the Mayan Calendar, it has come to be seen as risky business predicting dates. But there is a consensus that it will happen in the 21st century and, importantly, sooner rather than later.

I have come across a website which makes reference to the role of the Central Galactic Sun in The Event. To quote just a couple of paragraphs:
On the non physical plane:  there will be a “big wave or flash of Divine energy and light coming from the Galactic Central Sun going towards the surface of the planet”. (The Galactic Central Sun is an object in the Sagittarius constellation.) The energy from the Central Sun will stimulate a flash or special kind of light from the Sun that permeates the Earth and humanity, raising the frequencies of all living entities on the planet.

That’s the short overview of what the Event is.  And of course we have the pulse from the Galactic Central Sun.  The Galactic Central Sun is a living entity and it times the pulse of energy according to our global awareness and the level of that awareness and the level of the awakening.  And when we have this compression breakthrough the level of awakening is high enough for humanity to receive that pulse of increased energy from the galactic centre.

This website anticipates there will be a meeting of the light inside our planet with the light above our planet at a middle point, i.e. the surface of the Earth. I believe that there needs to be a corresponding meeting of inner and outer light take place with every individual human being too.
