VIRACOCHA
And His Visits via Tiwanaku’s Sun-Gate

Viracocha was, of the all the Sun-deities, one whose solar connection cannot be denied. He came and went via the great ‘Gateway of the Sun’ at Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco), Bolivia. His very first appearance was at the Sacred Rock on Isla del Sol (‘Island of the sun’) in Lake Titicaca, at the site of a labyrinthine structure called the Chicana. He later had the 10 ton archway we know as the Gate of the Sun, hewn from a single piece of stone, standing 3 metres tall by 4 metres wide, through which a vortex or wormhole allowed him to move back and forth between the Sun and the earth. The central figure carved on the lintel represents the Sun-god, surrounded by 24 rays of solar light and flanked by 48 winged effigies, 32 with human faces and 16 with condors’ heads.
In art, Viracocha is often depicted as an old man attired in a long robe secured around the waist, and sometimes wearing a crown with the emblem of the sun. He was fair skinned and blue eyed, with blond hair and beard. (This is an appearance attributed to many of the solar emissaries who came to Central and South America millennia ago, including the ‘White Brazilians’, who will be discussed in another article). He travelled extensively across land and water, always carrying a book in one hand and a staff in the other. Some called him Kon Tiki Viracocha, his name being linked with his original appearance from the lake and his sea travels.
There are many incidents in the legends of Viracocha that parallel those recorded in Judeo-Christian scriptures. Notably there are stories of the great flood and the creation of new humans using clay. And Viracocha himself fits the description of a prophet or holy man, preaching universal love, working miracles and healing the sick. Like all the solar beings who came to aid the development of humankind, he taught his people reading and writing skills, as well as tutoring selected students in the arts and sciences, including geometry, architecture, engineering, agriculture, astronomy and astrology.
Viracocha was not a maverick acting independently on earth. While he was carrying out his work in South America, his contemporaries were conducting missions in other parts of the globe, such as Egypt, the Indus valley, Crete and the area known today as Turkey. The similarities in their activities are still apparent in pyramids, temples and various megaliths incorporating huge carved stones weighing hundreds of tons each - evidence of their anti-gravity technology and laser-precision cutting skills. All these ancient builders used, wherever possible, granite and stone containing quartz and naturally magnetic minerals. The ‘Gate of the Sun’ archway was used exclusively by Viracocha and was always guarded. The nearby Puerta De Hayu Marka (‘Gateway of the Gods’), however, was used in later years by Amaru Meru, the first priest-king of the Incas, to take groups of worthy individuals back and forth on an interdimensional express way. This gateway was not an open arch, but a 1.8 metre high alcove carved into a 7 x 7 metre rock face. A golden ‘sun disc’ had to be inserted into a groove in the centre of the alcove to activate the portal opening, thus barring access to the uninitiated.
A network of portals enabled Viracocha to liaise with colleagues such as Thoth in Egypt, and Surya in India, as they established culture and civilization on earth. As discussed in my previous article, Heliocentricity, this system is part of a much larger grid whereby stars can connect to one another – our Sun connects to, for example, Sirius, Orion and Aldebaran, among others. For those not familiar with this concept, it is worth looking at Chad Stuemke’s website, particularly his article, “Connecting with the Wormhole,” at http://www.chadstuemke.com/article/connecting-with-the-wormhole/.
Biospheres such as earth’s are not all that common in our galaxy. By far the majority of three dimensional, corporeal beings on other worlds tend to be subterranean, living inside, rather than on the surface of their planet. Our exposure to our Sun has helped us form an especially close bond with its entities, but even so, those solar beings can only project themselves into physicality in our dimension for limited periods of time, after which they revert to their higher frequency. Not so for their hybrid offspring however, who most often acquire sufficient human DNA to keep them earthbound in physical bodies. Historically these cross-breeds commonly took on positions as civic leaders, reformers, inventors, healers and founders of mystery schools. It is said that there are communities of beings who dwell in underground communities here on earth – a topic we will explore in future. Definitely there are ‘people’ in the world today that are not of human origin.
Viracocha has been absent from this planet for over two thousand years. He promised that he would return after first sending messengers in advance. Over the centuries, many people in the Andes looked forward to his next arrival, but they did not heed Viracocha’s warning that some imposters would be mistaken for solar beings and instead wreak havoc on the land. When the Spanish conquistador, Francisco Pizarro González, showed up in the 16th century, some Incas thought at first he might be Viracocha accompanied by other solar beings, but soon realized they were murderers and plunderers who came to conquer Peru and destroy their civilization. As with all such atrocities, the ill-fated Incas no doubt wondered why Viracocha did not come back to save them – a philosophical question that we mortals cannot answer. We have to take consolation from words such as those of the Desiderata: “No the doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.”
Hybrid descendants of Viracocha and his fellow solar emissaries still existed at the time of the conquest. One of the conquistadors, Pedro Pizarro, wrote, “I saw in this land an Indian woman and child who did not differ from those who are white and blond. These people say that the latter were the children of the heathen gods.” It is sad to hear the savage Catholic murderers calling the solar deities ‘heathen.’ Viracocha had come to bring enlightenment to the land; the conquistadors came to plunder its gold and steal its peoples’ freedom.
